Project description
This scientific project studies a hybrid zone of Antirrhinum majus (common name: snapdragons) in the Eastern Pyrenees, where magenta and yellow flower color morphs come into contact, and produce a whole range of hybrid phenotypes. Every summer, a team of scientists and volunteers extensively sample the hybrid population, with the ultimate goal to reconstruct a pedigree of this wild population. This will help us to better understand fundamental questions about selection in the wild. Project Information
